Contrary to belief we are just a pub, although we do our best to blur the edges when it comes to spot on tucker, seafood platters, steaks, organic produce and estate venison; washed down with the more obscure highland and island malts and cask conditioned real ale on tap!
Knoydart has something to suit all budgets and family/groups sizes ranging from rough camping on the local beach to large groups hostelling, luxury self catering for families, large groups, walking parties, shooting groups, stag, hens do's and last munros or birthday parties.
We cater for large groups and walking clubs, last minute munro bashes as well as seafood banquets for groups and individuals alike. Our langoustines are creel caught outside the pub and the local diver hand dives our scallops each day, mussels arrive daily from Loch Nan Uamh with venison from the estate and lamb from the hill. Our herbs are grown in our garden and our chefs only use the freshest of produce, booking is very advisable as we have 12 moorings and as soon as the day draws in so do our seafaring guests. To bring you the freshest produce of your choice, (we don't do fixed menus it changes every day to reflect the daily catch, seasonal variations and natures local larder) it helps enormously if we know that you are coming as fresh shellfish is what we are known for.
All Knoydart accommodation facilities have their own website/email representation. Please feel free to contact the owners direct for availability and the lowdown on the highpoints they can offer you. These are not in preferential order, all have something unique to offer you, just ask! All we ask is that you mention where you heard about the accommodation. That way we can keep current and pass on relevant info to you as and when it becomes available. On another note if your camping and want a seafood platter or steak by the shore (take out style!) just ask. If you want a stelvin closure on your wine bottles to take up the munro for your last munro bash, tell us. If you want a keg for your party, a buffet for your stag or it’s the cooks night off, no problem, just phone in advance 01687 462267 and we will book a table for you. We can get quite busy and as our produce is fresh, a little notice goes along way, keeps the kitchen smiling and your tummy rumble free!”
